Bristol's INFLECT Audio present new signing Crypticz backed by a steller remix from the always on fire, MORESOUNDS
The latest release from Bristol’s Inflect camp comes in the form of the 3 track ‘Magnets EP by newcomer Crypticz who truly offers up a forward thinking representation of what uptempo music can be in 2015.
Combining elements of instrumental grime, with ballroom memes, killer half-step jungle gazing riddims, and of course lashings of bass pressure, Crypticz delivers a pair of tracks that are both musical and eyes-down dance floor destroyers, ably backed by a typically buoyant and utterly unique remix by the hot tipped Moresounds.
Mixing genres like paint in B&Q, Crypticz’s music is, like the rest of the Inflect catalogue, defiant of categorisation. It is imbued with a rose tinted, hazy quality that makes it timeless. The tunes’ roll, the atmospheres cuddle, the melodies sing and bass cradles you.
Moresounds adds a trappy, ravey feel to the titular Magnets with his percussively driven footwork remix taking the tune in a completely different, yet utterly captivating direction showing once again why he is a producer to watch out for in the future.
